Who we are
What UrbanGate is, in plain words
UrbanGate is a mobile app and a web panel that connect the three groups of people who make a society work: residents, security guards and the committee.
Before UrbanGate, the visitor register was a notebook, emergencies were a message in a chat group, and maintenance was a spreadsheet and a receipt book. Each works, until the one day it does not. UrbanGate puts all of it in one system that records who did what and tells the right person at the right moment.
It is made for how Indian societies actually run: guards who speak Hindi and Gujarati, owners who pay by cash and UPI, committees who change every few years, and gates that are busy at exactly the wrong time.

Principles we build by
Collect only what is needed
We do not track phone location and do not sell data. Each screen asks for the details it needs and no more.
Records you can trust
Payments are reversed, not deleted. Approvals and changes are logged so the committee can explain any number.
Language is not a barrier
Guards work in the language they are comfortable with. A tool nobody understands will not be used.
The right access for the right role
A resident, a guard and a committee member see different things. Permissions are specific to the job.
